That guy who isn't Kringe here and I had enough chuckles last night so I'll just throw you a bone on this one.

Tune's trolling of "pure melee" against Colgate's comment obviously takes something out of context and attempts to retardedly run with it. No one in their right mind would think he implied not using any songs and only melee'ing. Stay with me.

Similarly, and here's the gotcha, no one in their right mind would think you implied that a tank isn't face to face with Venril for the fight. Using Tune's approach, I was taking what you said out of context, implying that no one was tanking it. IE: Venril is turned around with literally every single one of your raid members (and pets) attacking him from the back. Maybe Tune can chime in if I'm doing it right here, but since I think no one would find any humor or sense in my duplication of his "tactic", I'd say it was a success.

More fun facts:
Guilds on blue have slain Venril by using soulfires to keep a tank up (because these guys have ZERO clue)

Venril will bash/kick now and will proc on these as well as ripostes. Also, it appears his proc rate should go up about 26% to be more in line with a true 50% proc rate on any hit. 2 hits and a bash/kick... or 2 hits, a kick/bash and unlucky riposte.. that happens enough times, your enchanters go oom... and if they go oom on him.. you wipe.

This change in no way is going to make him (or in the Trakanon change case) impossible whatsoever. You just can't lolface your way through it and have to at least attempt using the classic strategy. Here's a hint, people didn't try to soulfire down VS on live.. you are all welcome to try after these fixes! As far as Trak, there's been Trakanon wipes by all guilds (@ least on blue) since the changes and the 100% chance to resist him with stacked shadoo/resist poison's days are over. Pulling him and positioning him takes somewhat of an effort now as well as opposed to just running in and derp facing.

Lastly, 120 people on spawn.. I'll say OK maybe. However, with FTE shouts, the guilds involved who did not get FTE will disengage in the hopes that the engaging guild fails.

Maybe Elderan has a spare helmet you can put in one of your 8 bags for occasional use.
