yeah its NOT suppose to work like that. 8 out of 10 of my char were leveled in Qeynos area - there is no freaken way you could get 10 to 11 with 10 fangs. I turned in hundreds of them around 5-12 and there never was any noticeable XP gain.

The true ratio was like 1/5 of yellow at level 5. The only reason you would keep turning in fangs at lev 10 is for faction and some coin from Moonstones.

I am surprised this haven't been nerfed after so many years.

Back on Live gnoll fangs were never considered good turn in for quick XP, it was always CB belts/pads that were always suggested - yes they were dropable too, but even at lev 12 I always saw noticeable XP gain from every belt/pad turned in all way to 16. But fangs Xp died at lev 8.

The people who invented the first space ships were brilliant. That doesn't mean anybody should actually want to use them 200 years later. Ideas are limited by means of execution. Everquest has amazing ideas that need to be completely reworked in their execution, in order for classic Everquest as it was envisioned to actually exist and continue to be relevant as things have evolved.

From what I remember of Blackburrow, its risk was a lot more than "slight."

Thank you for keeping the areas surrounding Qeynos SAFE for the civilians of Qeynos and their daily travelers/traders.

turning in 3200 fangs, 4 at a time, the repetitive nature would probably induce a trip

When did you play live? I leveled almost every single character, other than my HIE enc and IKS shm, in blackburrow during the level range of 5-14ish purely because the fangs were great exp (and free beer!)

So first thing i thought of was if you have 16 10 slot bags wouldn't that mean 10 x 16= the total amount of fangs you can carry, which is 160? Also you said "Let's say that a single fang can give a lv 10 human wizard half a yellow bubble." so that isn't even a fact and then you base all of your math off the idea that it gives you have a yellow at level 10 which isn't even proven. Also while only being able to hold 160 fangs at a time to get 3200 fangs turned in would take 20 trips of full bagged fangs. Let's assume your math about how much experience per fang you got that would still take 20384 fangs to ding 18-60 which would take 1274 trips of full bags. Also let's assume it takes you on average 6 seconds to turn in 4 fangs,so every minute you turn in 40,it would take you 8.49 hours of just turning fangs in,assuming you were able to hold all 16 at one time. You would be sitting there for 8.49 hours just clicking to turn in without any rest and always turning in 4 ever 6 seconds. Now imagine how much longer it would add to kill all those gnolls to get 20384 fangs.

I was bored af and thought too much about this....
160 is just the amount of slots you would have available with 16 10-slot bags... the fangs are stackable. Hence, 160*20 = 3200.
