i got wineq but it doesnt have anything in the preferences which is what it says to use to connect

on a Win XP machine as an example...
click on the Start button, click on Run..., Type on the line "cmd.exe", a black Dos Shell box will show up with the starting directory path being " C:\Documents and Settings\user"... Hunt down the directory path for your Everquest folder. Navigate to that path in the Dos Shell by using the Change Directory path. An example of doing this on my machine was... " CD C:\program files\sony\everquest " Once you've changed your directory path to something similar to the above that ends with your everquest folder, type in... " start eqgame.exe patchme " and you'll get the logon window for the game. or at least I did. in game now. | ||

Also currently experiencing this issue. Says servers are up though. Hopefully the disconnect is found soon.
