So what would you do to enforce this? Remove log files from the game? Implement more code similar to MQ detection to catch those cheating vent users? Seriously a waste of time and resources.. Velious is more of a focus than telling people what third-party programs (that don't interact with eq) that they can use.

P.S. please enforce 56 k connections only and no hardware from post-2000

Hmm would mean I have to go up into the attic to find my old desktop and then buy a very old HD and reinstall my original eq discs that I have in a box up there also. Pay AoL for a dialup connection? Just to play on the P99 server and I thought new games were difficult to keep up with on hardware.

Actually you make very good points and no its not a waste of time the devs need to fix the broken p99 server before releasing velious, i am just so relieved you cant do account trades anymore that was a HUGE PROBLEM with this server. So glad they got rid of that before it could be way too overpowered for those big guilds on the server.
