I, for one, enjoy P99 the way it is...a mixture of classic and non-classic.

Wouldn't enjoy the old UI/spellbook (4-5 spells per page etc), but do enjoy the classic community at lower levels.

I also enjoy how P1999 is currently setup. This is a competitive server that incorporates variance to give everyone a fair shot. Organization, numbers, and communication are key. I don't want to play on an instanced or medallion server... I want to compete against you fools for raid targets. Some raid mobs will be triggered once Velious comes out, the others will remain status quo. If you reaaally want to kill those pixels and can't seem to get organized, join a guild that is. If that doesn't work for you, go create your own carebear version of p1999.

If you really want to "enjoy a conversation", you need to open up the discussion to parties that aren't you. Your first sentence is not the best way to do that, because it basically tells anyone that won't ego-stroke you to fuck off.

I should write you a response that starts "Despite how little I respect those that start meaningless rant threads about changing things that will never be changed, there might be a shred of intelligence somewhere behind what is being said."

That's how these threads work tho. "If you don't agree with me, then your part of the argument is RNF - please stay out."

They are basically looking for a ton of "I agree" comments to make it look like they are on to something, so the server can be turned into an instanced version of not classic EQ crap.
