Rellapse is the most broken up about me leaving red I can see. He never once got a kill shot on me while using his Wiley bluebie tricks to out level me within 48 hrs. Getting killed by Chewie twice, once on a 35, and once on a 57 within a 24 hour period.

I never said "This" I said the community was toxic as hell and it needed changing. Whats different now, and what I learned is. I can't change it. I wasn't having fun playing it the way I wanted to. And that I wish to live in the now moment, not some future place of hope, where I would one day start having fun on red.

XP is extremely fast there. Level 2 chars for the price of half of one on blue. Make a mage, necro, ench, druid, sham and gear a melee twink for the ultimate in ownage. You will also have 2 chars to fall back on for your griefing. It will take you the same amount of time as starting a paly from scratch without help from friends and blue plat transfers.

Nope. I may return. I have plans to one day level my cleric to rez alt status and sit around on standby to help newbs. Same with druid who is already 49 (out of range of those pesky 56+ players with insane gear and time. Obviously Gaffin is using most of the gear he loaned Azure to try and relive his own glory days from RZ.

And yes I had quit red before. And I have been thinking about it for at least a month, so I definitely mentioned the possibility of quitting if things didn't some how magically improve (which they didn't) waiting for things to improve is dumb.

I think the most fun I had on red this round was 1-35 on Niem. When I was clericing for real newbies in ringmail on a dead box and getting groups.

Nah they win when you stop having fun. I was not having fun anymore. I'm going to go have fun and win. It's a game the point of playing is to have fun, and win doing it. I could win, but than it would be war, not a game. And war is not fun. Trust me I could win.

And to those that think the high exp on red is nice. It is, I am not saying don't give it a shot. But don't go with expectations. Go planning for war. If thats the sort of thing you enjoy. Take every advantage you can and don't play it like an RPG or an MMO.

Play it like an abstract psychopath simulation were its your goal to stab them in the back of the neck from the shadows before they stab you.

It takes a very special person to just play for casual, chatroom, team building based fun on red and enjoy it.

I have seen many grown men try and build guilds and make waves and get crushed. Doing so. Doing that on red IS an accomplishment. But it's won you won't attain if you become miserable and jaded.
