Not quite sure how you mean naked low lvl druids with low funds.

I have been trying to perform this for some time now and it keeps failing miserably. I know I am doing something wrong.

SO I get a pet(go with lb for full duration), sick pet on mob(going after db to max xp since if I go after lb I may as well just root rot a DB anyway lol)

Fight gets going down, mob drops to about 50% before I snare(to prevent taking threat from pet. Charm breaks, fear*resist*, fear*resist*, fear*resist* oh shi- run.

End up just snare kitting/dotting 2 mobs down because I can only barely stop to recast snare every now and then. Then I am oom and root rotting still ends up being more efficient.

Even on a LB I get maybe 2.5 mins of charm, can't get charm to stick for more than 20-30 seconds on a DB, white mobs almost always resist.

LVL 15 with 127 wis(I think 410-420 mana but not exactly sure)btw and snare only lasting 1 minute is making this a P.I.T.A. Is druid charm also cha based? could've sworn it wasn't but if it is than my Halfling 50 cha is what is making this suck.
I second Estu, light blue is sorta for special situations when you're just having no luck at all with dark blues. Charm breaks are based purely on level and MR so gear is inconsequential.

I promise I used this exact method to get my druid on red from 14-44 (so far) [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

1: Always keep enemy snared
2: Snare pet if it breaks
3: If both enemy and pet are snared, you'll have to run circles around the enemy or fear the enemy or your pet will OOR melee.

Not sure why you're having such problems with snare and fear resist esp on blues, by lvl 22-23 it lands on reds pretty consistently.

Make sure you do the quest for your plant charm spell when high enough. Cactuses in OT make excellent pets.

Is this really that great? It says on the wiki it only does up to level 25 plants. That seems a little low, unless you are doing the low side of OT, but you wouldn't be after you got the spell at 29.

Also, love the guide! I switched to Mammoths in EF around 26, which might be a bit low, they resist a lot, but used the same strategy on them and it works well.

Anyone know where else I can go with this? I know the NK/LOIO that was named in guide, was curious if anyone had success doing this all the way to 50+ or if quad kiting is just better once you're able to do that.

14-19 NK - Griffenne/Griffawn
19-24 EK - Gorge hounds
24-29 EF - Mammoths
29-34 ???
34-56 Kedge Keep - swordfish to start, then basically everything other than mermaids
56-60 Permafrost - Bearpits

29-34 you can do kedge but it takes a lot of practice and can be slow since you are often charming some yellow cons and such.

Quadding is rarely worth it. The benefit of quadding is being able to AFK and do other stuff inbetween.

I just tried and it's awesome but whenever I hide (halfling hide ability) as a halfling Druid it doesn't cancel my pet. Am I doing something wrong?
