Why are there so many manastones for sale?

I have basically been unable to play lately. But a couple weeks back I invested in a manastone for 235k. Some are being sold for less than 200 now! I don't care about that loss, but when I look at ec forums and the eqauctions website there are just tons of them for sale, and I am wondering what has caused this sudden increase in stones for sale and decrease in value.

Maybe there are more in game than I thought, and I will not be selling mine, but is there something going on??
