Spells need mana, and you won't regen mana if you're out of drink from sitting in the tunnel for hours on end. Selo's doesn't require mana (though it's not that fast at level 5).
By level 9 a shaman has conjure food/water.

Sure, but that's a lot of work just to be able to move around when a bard can just click Selo's. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Some noobish questions...[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

What race/class makes best trading mule?

What amount of plat will seriously encumber your mule?
Can spells free it up?

Are most big transactions done in EC tunnel or at bank?

Thats it!

Thanks in advance...
1: Imo doesn't matter, ogre easy to click on when other ppl trading with you. Anything that stands out so people can find you.

2: Donno I'm guessing like 15k you can still move, I'd say not much more dep on str. Even if you were 10000000000000000000000000/10 encumbered if you get a SoW you move at a decent rate.

3: Tunnel.

Personal pref: I made a bard randomly, now all my stuff is on it and he never moves due to plat. I usually ask nicely for people to come to me, never had anyone decline. I always offer to get a SoW and run to them if they are busy.

Bunch of noobs when it comes to trading. You don't need sow/selos for moving. All you need to do it put your load in a trade screen with someone and walk freely til the game catches up. My lvl 2 bard has 55k on him and can't move without this. I usually just put the money in someone's trade window and move to where I need to go. There are enough people that I can move between ent and torch 1 freely.

What do you do when some jackass insists that you come to T2 / shady and your char stops halfway there with nobody around? Happens sometimes when you use this method and try to go a long distance.

Also, sometimes your plat disappears and you have to relog to get it. I very much preferred having a mule with selos/sow

Spend an hour making a bard, getting him buffs at the tunnel, getting to level 5, and training percussion.

It sucks having a naked trader mule who can get killed by an air elemental when you're running to the bank or something.

My mule account is 8 level 5 wood elf bards filled with 10 slot bags and MM battledrums. but my trader is a level 20 iksar shaman. Who uses banks for anything other then no drop stuff anyway?

Without risk, there can never be a real reward! I live my life on the edge! I keep 5k on my reds toons while pvping. If someone kills me, they deserve to get the 5k I'm holding.
