I am going to, problem is with this thread where Nilbog flat out states it will not be in game.

Trying to build up enough information to either A] prove him absolutely right(making myself look like a jackass in the process) or to B]prove him wrong, update(potential) future quests and then fix the wiki.

I don't want to jump the gun and I am just trying to make sure I am in fact no the one providing false or misleading info.

If Nilbog(or anyone for that matter) would provide info on WHY it is not going to be available when even the patch history and first hand experience from alla seem to point to the contrary I will drop it and leave it sit.


Sorry to be a pain, I do this kind of thing for a living and not having correct info bugs the crap outta me lol

On live, I made a fair bit of pp doing the quest and selling GB, price dropped quickly from 1500ish to 500ish during that span. It wasn't a long time after the quest went live that they made GB nodrop, maybe 2 or 3 months, but that was long enough for the server I was playing on to be pretty well flooded with ghoulbanes. Also, attention to detail helps. On the left hand side ofThe Sword of Nobility quest page, under all the "related info" panes it simply states "Entered: Wed Jun 13 09:02:36 2001"

How could the quest have been known to be entered into alla during Velious if it wasn't completed during Velious.

Does anyone have any idea on how to get someone with authority to deny/confirm without posting a second topic in the server chat or PMing someone(don't like to PM as I am not a veteran here and I don't want to seem pushy over minute details that ultimately are just me data hoarding lol)

Just bringing this back to the top for a minute as there has not been an answer to the flat out denial of the questable ghoulbane's existence in Velious when I have provided a few examples of it being in game and achieveable


Again, if someone with authority could weigh in it would be nice.

Maybe I should repost this in the general chat to get people's attention once this has settled again. No reason to make a duplicate when this one could have been skimmed over
