Yeah it was on Terris Thule, a rogue GM decided to summon about 10 lvl 60s under a dragon in Veeshan's Peak early in Kunark - at a time when there were very few 60s, and no one had VP keys.

I was one of the fortunate ones to be summoned in. I was literally plucked from my group in Charasis, and dumped in VP to die.

Except like Heebee said it was more like 10 people and I don't think anyone was bound (I think the first GM who tried to clean-up the mess accidentally summoned people in and got them killed again, hence the confusion).

Yeah no one was bound, we were just dumped in there to die, and then left naked wondering who the fuck we'd ever retrieve our corpses. It was a lot longer than an hour before we got summoned back to our bodies though!
