Err.. what is the point of the Death peace spell then? Just to FD in 1 sec rather than 1.5? No, I believe spellcast FD is still supposed to fail sometimes, based on your alteration skill.

Maybe deathpeace did other things (in addition to higher rate of success) as well? Mobs more likely to instantly forget you or something? Don't know.

But I do know that back in the day resisting a nuke meant you got to stay FD'd.

It failed, but didnt give a fail message until luclin or velious, not sure. Would have to put on my nerd goggles and go digging in the archives

Googling ""has fallen to the ground" everquest" with appropriate date ranges turned up a couple logs (timestamps included) of necros/SKs getting the failure message on FD. I misunderstood the OP at the time I found them though so I didn't post about it.
