I told everyone this shit storm was going to happen and by forcing raid rules/alliances there will be unintended consequences for intervening in the free market of raiding that is classic EQ.

The main reason i saw the GMs give for enforcing a raid rotation was the "shit storm" that wasnt going on with training and other shady things being done by many different guilds in the race for loot.

These problems dont go away with more laws, it only complicates things and gives people more of a reason to bitch and lobby for even more laws until this server is a homogenized, sterile and a shadow of its former classic self.

Creating more laws doesnt get rid of the "shit storm", it amplifies it and makes more tedious and frustrating work for GMs who volunteer here.

In trying to get rid of the "shit storm" and making this game "fair" for everyone, you have amplified the "shit storm" and fed the beast you were wanting to slay.

I hear the guides are working on an instance for TMO to raid in for the rest of time with Mercs disguised as real players for competition that constantly get shut down. Hell they might even put up a stronger effort for ya. ;D
