best compromise between current system and wow system and for people who've been playing this game for years... yaw, also the least mechanically dmging otehr than the fact that people could potentially bind rush dragons but thats unlikely | ||

Just a friendly discussion about what you as a veteran player of EQ would think would be a good way to handle character death. I think heavy penalties for character death bring a certain suspense and agony to battles that cannot be produced otherwise.
What if you didn't lose any exp, but all your loot got ganked by other players? You know, like exploded onto the ground like in Diablo causing a frenzy. Your 'friends' could help you at this point, but the loots are free to first to grab.
