Exactly, it was the same during GW's reign. Nothing to see here.

For real do you guys not remember George W Bush?

Crap on a cracker guys. I remember George W Bush. It wasn't that long ago.

2 wars, my friends dead, Barry had to kill bin laden? Only good thing he ever did, unintentonally, is create a power vaccum where Kurds can get basically sovereignty in Northern Iraq? Oh and he gave people an IRS check that one time.

I mean Barry isn't a great president but for fucks sake guys perspective.

But....But....socialism! FOX NEWS said so! OMG He's destroying America!

But seriously lets not forget government sanctioned torture, hurricane Katrina ("Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job.") and the patriot act.

I've never liked Bush. But I'm more concerned about the present and future at this point. Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act, allowing presidents for the first time ever the power to have the military pick up anyone anywhere in the world and hold them indefinitely without charges. Yes, that also applies to us regular citizens here at home. Doesn't that bother you?

NDAA was also around under Bush they just called it the patriot act which still exist. These guys work for the same big money players. Its a great game they have going. Everyone sits around trashing an interchangeable figurehead meanwhile nothing ever gets repealed . They just continue on the work that was in place before them. Now that those pesky campaign donation limits are gone and propaganda on us soil is legal this thing should really kick into high gear.

It does. I'm also concerned with him killing U.S. citizens without a trial. It sets a frightening precedent and who is to say that future presidents won't do the same thing here at home instead of just abroad.

As long as the right keeps:

-Denying climate change
-Denying evolution
-Blocking environmental regulation
-Subsidizing agri-business
-Smothering mass transit, infrastructure, and urban planning projects
-Adhering to a trickle-down philosophy

... I'd still prefer the world's worst democrat candidates, just as a matter of principle.

Liberal states are passing their own healthcare and wage reforms while the illegitimate, gerrymandered house obstructs any form of federal progress (During the last congressional elections, Democratic candidates received 1.17 million more votes than Republican ones).

Will be interesting to watch conservative hick areas fall even further behind. The HDI in the rural south is already akin to a developing nation.
