Go Gnome warrior or check in between legs for package verification IMO.

If I could go back to day 1 on the box I would change - go Wiz or Ench > morph once you're rich into a War / Monk or just main the Wiz.

I would probably go warrior these days, their hit rate and damage is much higher than classic plus they have an unclassically long kick stun and cripple stun and very tanky which means you won't be focused.

Also, without a Tstaff(good luck) your monk will just be a sub par warrior, plus they are flooded currently.

You could just main a wiz, they are the best raid PVP class IMO - when Nihi has 8 or whatever Wizards you just eat a pell train from the melee's and die in one caster round which is not classic resist wise and really dumbs down raid PVP, but it is what it is the melee train can fuck you up too.

Ench would just be for farming > raiding.

Actually that's not fair Ench is a really good PVP class with dispells and skeleton illusion.

Kick stun should be same as bash.

Cripple stun was like a half second each but you can disci and get tons in a row.

Kringe knows best but I think its about right here.

Whenever Alecta comes back I'd be happy to sit with him and iron everything out as far as resists here.

Hit rate and average hit damage are quit high here but as discussed in Velious threads they have the formula as close as they can get it for pve where mobs individual ac and atk has to be adjusted. Primal procs will be way too OP in pvp with the already high hit chance and avg hit on players here (presuming atk has anything to do with PvP currently).

Every class is viable. Some are just more forgiving than others when mistakes are made. Run out into the middle as an enchanter w/o skel up, your toast. Do it as necro with 2 DAs and shadowstep not so bad

I played a war in Kunark/Velious epic war and shit, I don't remember my guy wrecking people as hard as here, and there was a lot of misses and shit.

I remember troll+fungi regen came into effect a lot more, here it's all burst from caster and melee which I might like more.

I also don't remember locking people down with kicks like that - or crippling disc locking people up, could be my memory none of this is fact I don't remember warriors being this nasty, or wizards for resist reasons.

From my limited RED experience, most of your low-level PvP is vs twinked melee
griefers and their backup healers in places like Unrest/MM/Oasis. Really,
no starting class has a chance against them. Perhaps your best best would
be to roll a bard and hope to run away from them [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. Bards are also great in PVE
groups and can provide great support in group PVP. Also, they can solo decently
enough to provide some gear for selling or twinking your second char...

My two cents...
