shit might not be classic, but fuck, they seem to like to pick and choose whats classic anyways
Not really, they are trying to slowly phase out non-classic things it's not like they have a light switch that they can turn all non-classic things off on a whim.

Being new to the server and not having a long friends list, here is what I have been doing at low levels.

1) "/who all x y", where x y is a 2-3 range of levels within your own. This is how I identify where the most people my level are hanging out and exping. I go to this zone, and try to find a group. If I can't find one, there are generally 1-2 people actively lfg in zone. At that point, form your own group.

2) To fill in the gaps, or to replace people that are leaving your group, I do a series of /who all x depending on the rough levels I am looking for. I scan the list for people in a nearby zone that are also playing a class that I want to bring on, then start sending tells asking if they are lfg. I've had a decent success rate doing this. Sometimes they say no, but that's ok, move on to the next tell.

There are so many people on this server playing at all level ranges, I've found it very easy thus far to find or put together groups. The key is really being proactive and not just sitting around hoping someone finds you. Sustaining the group is just as important. People have to log? That's ok, start running /who alls and find a replacement. If you only rely on the zone you are exping in for replacements, you may find your groups falling apart rather quickly depending on the zone, and time of day you are playing.
