whats with the keyhole on the BP?

make an ogre warrior and crack open halflings like beers
Well, actually no, not until level cap anyway... and even then it evens out due to the stat caps and such. Halfling will get there much faster than ogre due to the crazy xp bonus on halflings. What was ogre warrior again? almost as bad as ranger? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
But, dwarf is fine too, only a few % less xp.

You can solo, but you can also get pug groups easily. Dungeon groups you'll get better loot (if no loot ninja while you med and those are common here sadly), but solo you might get better xp at certain points in the game. Expect to be healing a lot when in groups. Understand aggro.

When you specialize, have some training points to dump into your choice, 51pts locks specialization (1st point gives 30, so do it right away - save 22 points for it), the others will cap at 50. Those guides cover everything else well enough.

I have only spent points into meditation and that was just to pick it up. Lol @ the buff port panhandling.

Well it's good to put a point into everything, but early on the only real points spending is probably 15+ points into sense direction. You can bind it to your movement keys, but imo it's annoying, at least unbind it later imo. Once it's up some, it's easier to raise.

But yeah, when in your 20's, keep some points saved for lvl30. If you take a spec past 51 on accident, then you'll need to do the respec quest. If you are healing in a group at the time and want to spec alteration, then it's no worries since you'll be healing like mad anyway. But like for me, I had to step out to train, on past drui's I've had spec in alter and the other conj, and here I mostly root-rot when not in groups so conj matters most. Although... resist seems to be a bit high atm on root, Evo may be better and quad kite for xp.

And when in pugs, all I can say try to have a melee friend with you to loot for you. It's just over the top sometimes with the amount of ninja looters on this server (and doing it with twinked out alts) and near nakid healers left with nearly nothing apart from some /random 100 that often seems to be won by the twink ninja looter hah
