90% of new players don't know or even care about what you're saying.

Even if they took the time to read through all of this, who's to say they'd believe any of it? both side throw these accusations at each other constantly, and it would take more reading and interest than a new player is willing to put forth in order to sort out who is who, what is what, and why they should care.

The point you're missing is that these new players don't know, don't care, or don't have any interest in what you're saying, but they leave anyway.

agreed. but GMs stated, no server wipe would ever happen here. so the only thing left to do is follow through with their mandates. it's always a good time to get rid of toxic players. why hasnt this already started happening?

The toxicity of ooc is probably a good portion. Nevermind spams in the toxic ooc referring to rmt, soandso did this irl and broke this law, x guild is unbeatable.

then i vote for absolute no, fuck that, make the server no rules instead, the constant bickering and thread making crying for gm intervention is retarded, especially when sometimes its a permanent 1 week ban, sometimes a 5 months, who knows right?

fighting a twink versus spending weeks doing something and that same twink stealing it when they didn't need are two different things

fighting twinks is something people know to expect and can usually handle...

you won't know who cares and who believes. no one would.

but whose to say they dont care? If I just started on a new pvp server, and I read the boards, and see all this chatter of cheating going on, and players being able to come back...I would be turned off. instantly. who wants to invest time into a box full of cheaters?????

I listened to that GM Chat with Lite this week. You guys are so far out of touch with the problems on this box its not even funny.

OOC chat? Are you fucking serious, the idea that people are scared off by a system you can literally turn off, that was never classic and you don't even need to read. Same with Forums, theres no need to be on here, no need to come and sit on here looking at troll after troll.

If people are scared off by simple green text( that they can ignore / turn off), how will they manage when they start getting Yellowed texted. over and over and over, having to do 20 minute CR's and such. That type of weak soft player is perfect for blue/WoW. Has no place on here. Shouldn't try this server, happier if they don't show up.

The true problem lies with the GM's, their mismanagement, 3 years of Kunark, and lack of things to do outside of repops. Sure Simpops bring in players and swelling the population. There's loot and pvp to be had. Once its over, back down to nothing.

Banning a bunch of players, great idea, since roughly 1/4 the main players who log on are bannable for continuous stuff including 50% of the resistance, we will have a wonderful server of 25 clean whistles.

I have to agree with that iksar GM guy. I had at least 5-6 friends from VZ live come over here. We were forced to deal with low POP, Flowers of Happiness rooting/training us, then hiding behind mobs. For a year Tune farmed every level 52 he could find which while pvp, probably got old really quick. We had Agatha and Rettiwalk spaming ooc, when the server had low numbers, with trolls about "wipe it clear" and telling everyone that would listen that GM's were planning to wipe the server.

I don't RMT, but frankly I don't care if people do as long as it's a small problem, and not the center of the game.

People stick around cause their friends in game, and cause the fun they have, and community. The problem isn't people selling characters or whatever, it's people whose only goal is to be assholes to other people. I'm not talking about pvp of course, I'm talking about people who just want to be assholes.

There's actually been some good changes though. 4 level pk range, LnS, the server is improving from what I see.
