Could you ever make a gnome sk/pal or halfling rang/pal on this server

On original server launch, as well as in beta, invalid race/class combos were sent to the Tutorial zone. There were 6-8 Cazic Thules you could try and run past to jump in the exit. The exit was actually removed, and there were a few corpses at the bottom of the well.

Long ago, character creation was changed to disconnect instead.

If the character table is harboring these abominations, they will be found and justice served.

So. We can officially say: There are aren't any non-classic race/class combos. Or not for much longer!

I've seen a Halfling Paladin running around with an epic.

Swear I've also seen a Gnome Shadowknight in Karnor's as well as that Halfling paladin.

We bet whether, if there was any time on this server where you could create these race/class combos

it seems it was only available on tutorial, and if u made it through the tutorial you could continue these toons? we need some ruling

To be specific, you could create the character, which spawned in tutoriala. You could log into the character in the tutoriala zone where there was no escape. You could not play the characters elsewhere (continue). However, I do believe there was a short-lived bug when the Secrets of Faydwer client was being used, where they could spawn in a different area. Perhaps that's how they got out.

That's super interesting.

Thread jack: would be neat to have the opportunity to buy a ticket for a gauntlet style event. Spawn a bunch of cazics and have a l1 race doe ticket holders across the zone. Those that make it across get to keep their race/class combo.

They may simply be cases of mistaken identity. Those GMs and guides do love to cast illusions on people all the time.
