Well, the good thing about druid over necromancer is that ensnare lasts like 15 minutes, so the mob will still actually be snared when charm breaks. SoW is even more convenient for those inevitable breaks, because putting as much distance between the enchanter and the mob as fast as possible is pretty important. Also, you will really want to be able to heal the charmed pet if you want to keep a persistent one; for a lot of content, I would even prefer a cleric over a druid. I find necromancer to be better suited for duoing with a shaman.

Unless you are farming plats in OOT... SOW isnt going to be much of a factor.
No question cleric CH + enc charm is the winning combo for any dungeon encounter. But yeah, obviously it's hard to beat porting in a duo partner, my necro always had a long friends list of druids and wizards. | ||
