The 'camp' sucks just as it did on live, and screw MQ, buy SoW pots. Feed those hungry hungry shamans so they may one day afford glorious torpor.

If I'm remembering right, back in classic on Bristlebane (at a time when there were all sorts of crazy theories about how to pop the SRo AC) 99.9% of the server respected the SRo AC as a camp, because it was so hard to spawn without knowing what the secret was. Only the assholiest of assholes KS'd it and their stock plummeted fast.

But back then rep actually meant something too. Nobody had a dozen accounts and 30 alts to make themselves anonymous with.

That was a time when ninja-looting a peggy cloak could get your char and any known alts thoroughly shunned. No need for GM enforcement. It will never be like that here because of infinite alts and much higher asshat density.

Not to mention the MQ factor. They can just play an alt which rep doesn't matter to them and just MQ to their good rep toons, or just sell it and xfer the plat. Back then MQ wasn't a thing either.

It is harder to camp now since the random area Pop now. So it is pretty easy to get sniped now. Not common, but hey who is going to pass it up if they are running through the zone. Sniping is pretty common. I was camping it for a while, and a few people were nice and left me alone when I told them I had been keeping the PHs on rotation, but a lot of people show up at 9pm on the dot, run around a bit, then log back off. Thats how I got sniped!

I played I played on a couple different servers and it was always a FFA and after he spawned and died it was 10min+ of people freaking out over /ooc and /shout.
