I just don't understand why modern MMOs don't use the 'one character can be all classes' system that FFXI had. No need for alts, no need to repeat endless fetch quests, and your character name matters so much more.

Work.. not sure how I held a full time job and leveled a redmage into the 50's, srsly the grind in that game put EQ to shame. Not even mentioning bag/bank space, gil farmers, exp penalties, never again!
