Looking for some tips

So I have a level 9 Druid, which I'm liking, but not liking the need to be in a group to do decently. I am in CB and it's hard for me to kill things solo, so I'm always relying on groups. With the lack of traveling, I'm kind of stuck where I'm at. I get about a level in about an hour and a half to two hours.

With that, I also have a level 4 Necromancer, which I am really liking a lot more than the Druid, but am somewhat determined to stick with the Druid due to traveling abilities, buffs, so I can try to help out people with ports and buffage.

My question to you, as I like both classes, what am I doing wrong where leveling is taking my quite a bit longer than other people I am seeing here on the forums.

I am untwinked, of course, and platless, so gearing myself to help take on harder mobs, is out of the question. My skills are up to par on both toons.
