Can elaborate on this? I've always thought that SRo was a zonewide spawn.

ENCOUNTER_DESCRIPTION SROHusamAncientNightfall
MONSTER_1_NAME a_desert_madman
MONSTER_1_NIGHT_NAME an_ancient_cyclops
MONSTER_1_PERCENT 10
MONSTER_2_NAME a_sand_giant
MONSTER_2_NIGHT_NAME a_mummy
MONSTER_2_PERCENT 20
MONSTER_3_NAME a_sand_giant
MONSTER_3_PERCENT 10
MONSTER_4_NAME a_dervish_cutthroat
MONSTER_4_PERCENT 30
MONSTER_5_NAME a_desert_madman
MONSTER_5_PERCENT 30

So basically, the PHer in Ro is a single PHer. It can be 1 of 4 mobs, a dervish cutthroat, a desert madman, a mummy and a sand giant. AC has a 10% chance of spawning, however he must spawn at night hours, not sure what EQ deems to be 'night' but I'd imagine 9PM-4AM would be a safe guess.

Me and my trusty team of four friends got him to spawn three times last night. He is however, the hardest version of the AC, where as a 45 wizard dumped all his mana to nuking him, and only did around 50% health.

2. good luck getting him to spawn if you DO get the camp! It's pretty much the same spawn rate as OOT, but can only spawn at night!
You are dumb.

It spawns in one spot, only one PH, it does wander.

I killed the AC in South Karana and looted a ring off of him shortly after Kunark launched. I had been killing chargers and aviaks near the hermit, as well as a random werewolves and cyclops that came my way for quite a while when the AC got sighted and started beating people up around Paw.

I'm pretty sure the roaming cyclops is the AC's ph. With a tracker and a little time it wouldn't be hard to figure out where the roaming cyclops spawns.

I personally saw the AC in SK the other day and he was deep red to my then 29 enchanter. I attempted charming some of the gnolls and sent them to try and take him down but he demolished them rather swiftly. I think the first gnoll sent him to 96% before he bit it... I'm guessing this guy is level 40+ just like the one in OOT so unfortunately most people that are actually in SK for experience most likely won't be able to take him down without some serious help.

Personally I think this is the least likely place to try and camp him, the last few times I've been through SRO no one has been at his spot. In fact last time I went there I saw 3 SG's for the 3 spawns where his camp is.

It's hard to tell if it's part of the Quil cycle, the mobs here are like the twilight zone.
