Its just nice to be able to be anywhere in the world, use OT hammer, sell/bank then gate back. I know i can bank. My faction while skelly is threateningly. I pulled him out of fort, had someone hailing him and then a 59 enchanter and I tried debuffing and charming him and had no luck.

I know this is beside the point, but Cabilis is 2 zones away... complete with a bank, traders that aren't "dirty", etc etc.

...and you can still bank in OT if you can find the right spot, with a food vendor at the rock pool near WW zoneline.

Yikes, really? I was planning on charming him on my necro when I was high enough to get the hammer. Be a great way to get home to Cab from where I am.

Charming the foreman is no problem once you get Cajole Undead at 49.

He is talking about charming the Captain to turn in for more faction.

But as stated previously, OT vendors are all greedy vendors (I've never seen any evidence proving this is classic though... I can see some being greedy but never the entire fort)... Which makes it a terrible place to sell stuff since you're losing half the value.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

I already have OT hammer, thats easy mob to charm. Just felt like fixing faction. Sounds like its way too much work. Thanks for the input.

If anything, as a necro, you should be interested in raising iksar faction so you don't need OT faction, not the other way around. Being an iksar, obviously, that's taken care of, but my point is that OT faction is just a huge obstacle for necros because as long as you're trying to "preserve" it, you're excluding yourself from killing in Karnor's, Kaesora, and HS, which are three really clutch zones for necro grinding for levels, gear, and money. I spent Idon'twannaknowhowmany hours doing bone chips on my necro so that he could use merchants in Cabilis because I knew OT would have to be inaccessible to me at some point.

tldr: if I were you, I wouldn't even bother with this, the cost of "maintaining" OT faction far outweighs the benefits. Especially if you've already got a hammer.

If you really want to raise a kunark faction for convenience, raise your FV faction. It's nice to be able to run into the outpost and vendor instead of having to go all the way to Cab from EJ or whatever. Camp yourself some gazughi rings, make a bunch of money, and get that faction while you're at it, it's slick nice
