I report myself all the time. Just yesterday a mob spawned and I had to med first, but a shaman desired the camp.

I petitioned my ass into a straight up suspension for that.

Never meditate for the next kill if a solo class desires your camp. Attempt it and die to forfeit it or hand it over, attempting to sit is punished severely.

But really.

A split server for the first few months of Velious to minimize shitting in a sock would be helpful. Or just a way to boot you off if your account has been active for more than 12 hours that day.

We'll have years to enjoy Velious content though, won't we?

Who had the first manastone on blue? First pair of jboots?

Chances are nobody remembers and nobody cares... plenty of time for your pixel camps, and we'll all get to raid I'm sure.

Maybe I'm just not as hyped as everyone else [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

After more than a year of beta testing, I've seen almost everything I've wanted to see.

On classic, we used to have each spire be a camp (as well as the hill) and wanderers were FFA

I would rather see no MQ of Velious quest armor. Arena and HoT will probably be perma farmed

For some reason I thought there weren't "camps" in outdoor zones. If the mob is up and you pull it, it's yours. If you want to call a "camp" - pull the mob when it pops or run the risk of someone else pulling it first.

AC in OOT, Hadden etc... you can tell if someone's on it.

Roaming mobs aren't so easy though, and that's where it becomes very grey (South Ro AC, anyone?)

This may be true, but I have a good example. Grimalkins at the WM in LOIO. They are outdoor mobs and path, but they can be "camped". Although it may not be against the rules to come in and take the mobs, it's indecent to say the least. A druid can comfortably hold the 4 Grims that spawn there with no issue, but I've had other people come in and randomly kill them. Thats classic EQ (Blue) I guess.
