Report it whenever you see it - I'd still like to see a 24 hour blackout on people with IP exemptions to see the comparative EC population, and if that's a thing.

how does anyone still give a shit about pacquiao / mayweather?

that fight should have happened in 2009/2010 after Pacquiao beat Hatton and Cotto. now those two couldnt pay me to give a shit.

better luck next time boxing

boxing is only slightly less fake and rigged than wrestling and country music.

You can thank the promoters for that, who have for so long tried to squeeze and hype every fight to be as big a payday as possible, we end up with what amount to exhibition fights that occur several years after they should have.

The only real boxing is the stuff that does not make it to pay-per-view. The big fights are for the tourists.

Showtime has some pretty good boxing matches on from time to time. You don't see a lot of big names, but seeing someone hungry for a win makes a fight so much better.

Possibly boxing's last big money fight for the foreseeable future. I admit, I'm not really a boxing fan at all, but I -WILL- be watching this one. It'll be this generation's "Thrilla in Manilla", but 10x BETTER.
As a boxing fan I consider this fight to be the beginning of another slope downwards. They have done nothing to deal with the beaucratic bullshit and corruption that plagues boxing and prevents great fights from happening. Once this is over there will be no more big fights coming up because they have tried so hard to squash any upward movement in the sport.

This fight will make lots of people very rich and will pull fantastic PPV numbers and all the boxing announcers will squak about it and how it's so good for boxing etc etc.

Then after that there will be nothing left and it will all plummit.

Putting Boxing on NBC is a good start and they need to unify boxing under one government body.

One of my favorite boxing rounds ever, the first Holyfield vs. Bowe fight, round 10:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GngvYoqQj4

I saw this on Pay-per-view back in the day, and I was jumping out of my seat. This was like a Rocky movie, except it was real. At :25 seconds into the video, Bowe clocks Holyfield with an uppercut, and he immediately smells blood and totally unloads on Holyfield with everything he has. Somehow, Holyfield doesn't go down and he manages to stay upright and hug Bowe to keep going. With 1:10 left in the round, Holyfield somehow gets the energy to let loose a barrage on Bowe (WTF!) and then with 15 seconds left, throws another big sequence of blows to end the round. Everyone stood up in applause - the people at the event, and the people at the bar. That was amazing live, I still get chills watching it. Holyfield was a dead man walking, and ended the round swinging. He lost the fight, but won my respect and everyone else's.
