If Velious is actually launched in August, then the xp penalties would not dissapear until Christmas? That is very far away!! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I hope it wouldn't be that long.. On Live.. Velious launched in December and they announced in the following Jan that they were removing the penalties... So what 2 or 3 months? If that? So if they follow the timeline... October? Sure its a long time but at least it will finally get removed..

By the looks of the old patch notes, the penalties got removed on Jan 17th 2001 and Velious Launched on Dec 6th 2000... So thats what? 42 days after Velious launch?

All this complaining about exp penalty. What's the rush? Did the doctors only give you 6 months to live and your make-a-wish dream was to lvl an iksar sk to 60?

This server is not going anywhere.

People need to chill. This is not an actual commercial game that will keep releasing xpacs for $$ flow even if they break the game. This is a hobbyist server.

Ever see people who collect model trains? They sit for days watching a train go back and forth, pleased as punch. Keep that image in your mind, because that is p99, too.

Not everyone plays the game the same as you.

That said, not everyone can play P99 the way it is meant to be played. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The problem is finding a group on a hybrid is an exercise in frustration. My *bard* has trouble getting groups; I can only imagine what its like for a Ranger or Paladin.

I hope the Doctors gave you more like a year to live. 6 Months is pushing it for a Ikky SK to 60! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I have had mine for 5 years and it still is not 60 lol.

The xp penalty is doing you the best favor you could ever ask for: stalling until the awful endgame in P99. Cherish the level up as much as you can because it gets awful once you are maxed level

Like I said - we all play the game a different way and for different reasons - I have no interest in end game and likely never will - but I also have no interest in burning out due to the harsh exp penalty (in a game that is already extremely time consuming) when I have limited time and several other games I actively play.
