If the staff didn't develop relationships with the players they might be able to stay consistent in their rulings. It seems that they either want to be "liked" or have an affinity for certain players that causes them to come up with these idiotic rulings that make no sense on a PvP server.

You were swarming and got rooted? Be more careful of where you are leveling. Check that /who. Zone the train and start the pull over if necessary. Otherwise, take you YT like a man. You'll more than make up for it on the next pull. All is well.

Someone feared your pet and the mobs that aggro'd killed you? Too bad. /Pet go away. Again, stop crying and take your YT like a man.

Don't like being killed? Only play in zones where you're the only one in them or go back to blue. This shouldn't be rocket science.

The inconsistency you're seeing is probably from either not actually seeing all the petitions that are ruled on (which the staff sees), or listening to twisted anecdotes from people upset that they have to find something else to do for a couple weeks. If anyone was on staff in order to be liked, they would have left within a week of doing petitions.

To the thread in general: Classic PvP communities policed themselves, treating others as they'd be treated.

If I trusted the guilds in Red to do this, I'd be advocating for the PnP/etc to be peeled back.

I'm not.

Spawn more overlords, the true power of these guilds are the members, a select few of the upper core are real pieces of shit on boths sides. Can we really blame them? No. they are part of a corrupt culture that spawned them. A product of thier environment.

Acting like p99 has never had a rogue or corrupt staff member is ignorant at the very least. That is not saying that they are still there, P99 does a pretty good job of flushing the turds. But the smell does linger.

If we really want to see change, the only way that will happen is from within. Overthrow your guilds and be the change you want to see.

This is the only way. The very few in control came to that position after years of both domestic violence and chronic emotional abuse. They are fucked up in the head.

This is one big shit show, it's probably time for a plot twist.
