Not to derail your thread, but better reroll another race - like a fattie, barb or dorf. Since most people here take EQ about min/maxing and the majority of warriors being Ogres, you won't ever make it to a maintank. It's not just about that people confuse you with a ranger, but Woodelfs suffer a serious stamina hit in comparison to Ogres, what translates to 225 hp at level 50 and 300 hp at level 60. This is in particular meaningful, since Kunark armor doesn't offer much to make up for worse base stats and it needs Ntov equip to achieve stamina cap. Even you're maybe not thinking about raids by now, this might change once you hit max level and feel like the red headed step child, because there is nothing left to do but farming boss mobs anymore.
Typical of the "commonly" accepted thinking currently on internet gaming, and I find it disturbing. Sure, picking the "best" race for a class because of stats is wise, but to limit and even in-game deny these characters grouping because you think they are weak... hell, who knows how much more often a high dex/agility wood elf WAR can hit and avoid dmg? Cause in your book, no one would play one.

We can all live by the numbers completely, and follow min/maxing rules, but aren't we all just clones then?
