Default Agi

I feel like the consensus of everything I've read says that 75 agi is the minimum you should have. No one appears to quite know the math behind the avoidance other than that below 75 you get hit more often. I'll probably pick up the Ring / Shoulders or even a Cat o Nine Tails weapon for the agi buff that lasts 35 minutes from proccing it.

Thanks for all of the help everyone. Much appreciated!

didn't think 75 agi was a magic number for tanking, but it is a magic number for not being affected by low HP. such as run speed reductions etc

From what I understand it is. No one can specify the math on it, but the consensus is you get hit far more without 75 agi.

No math but some more advice to keep certain stats at least 75:

Here is some math on stuff not really sure any of it will answer your question:

The link I provided earlier has math posted by a live dev.

Of course it is likely different here.

Thanks. I saw that and at first saw so much math, and at a much higher level that I kind of dismissed it. Reading it again, the concept makes sense if you scale it down and ignore certain parts. I would be curious if its the same or if they had to adjust it at one point to accommodate particular expansions.

I'm curious about this subject too as I put 5 into agi on my Erudite Enchanter to bring it up to 75(I was following a guide on the wiki). Me being super anal I always wondered if those points were wasted.

those points weren't wasted unless you get agility gear to get to 75. you know how sometimes people just die really fast and everyones like "damn that dude died fast"? thats what being encumbered and going under 75 agility gets you. dont hoard that silver and copper nerds

On p99 ,as you dont have much choice of gears with high AC and high HP/STA at same time, So we bloody need a real formula of what AC working here(Pointing to Devs).

Thus we can make a spreadsheet to calculate whether we should replace a new gear with more AC and less hp/sta , when we are to get it(raids/EC etc).

But imo , i prefer hp/sta things before ac things , because ac doesn't do anything when you dealing with some spell casters, and for the uncertainty of HOW AC WORKING ON P99, we should never choose a gear ONLY for it's AC or Agi.

Hope i am wrong.

Any Dev who would posts the mechanism(or codes)of how this working would be appreciated very much.
