I used to think that neriak was the best city in the game... playing a DE/Necro for a while I remember having to run to the back of the zone everytime to get spells and stuff.
eventually after getting lost a gazillion times you start to learn your way around the city.

currently, Freeport is my jam :P

I thought I learned the first time after getting KoS'ed when I was buying my enchant silver that I need to re-cast illusion after zoning. But it happened again last night. So I said fuck it and bought all the enchanting spells so I never have to go back to that hell hole again. Should have done that the first time but this is my first character and I'm not hoarding a bunch of plat in the bank.

This fact is why I always hold up Kelethin and Neriak as tied for my favorite cities: one has no loading times to get everywhere, but it can also murder you if you happen to lag for a second transitioning from one platform to the next; the other has a great aesthetic bLOADING, PLEASE WAIT...
