You'll spend less repairing it than on something 5 years old I'm sure.

I've got a 1998 right hand drive Cherokee, old girl has 230,000 miles on it and it's only been in the shop once.

Buddy of mine bought a 2014 Wrangler last year.

Manual, crank for windows, Soft Top....

He didn't buy the all electric one. Anyway, it's really nice and will take on any hill, wash or whatever without any issues.

There was a known 'ticking' noise that Jeep is aware of with the newest jeeps. If you report it to the manufacture they will have you take it to a dealership to get something replaced.

All I know and I hope this helps.

OH....I think it was around 27 grand.

Everyone I know that has owned a Jeep has had transmission problems within the first year. The last guy owned a 2014 Jeep Cherokee and within 1 year had to take the dealership to court to settle a lemon law case and won.

Well....I will add this.

My stepdad owned a 90s Cherokee. That thing was a load of crap. It broke down all the time and had multiple issues.

I would NEVER buy one of those. The Wranglers, I would buy and recommend to others.

Do it.

You might wanna check out JK-forum.com or Jkowners.com, literally any question you can think of has already been asked and answered on these sites.

Its a great hobby and you can learn a lot from trying things out and modifying your own jeep.

Before I owned mine I knew how to change oil/brakes and rotate tires that's about it. Over the years have learned alot and everything on my jeep I've done myself.
