Wasnt going to try it, but your friends fake amazon reviews make it look interesting - now i have to read it to see if they are full of it..... maybe.
Whatever it takes to get the youth of America reading, I'm in. It is an honor to help shape our future.

Seriously though, thanks for downloading it at least, honestly hope everyone gives it a read and has a good time. It's a fun little book.

This giveaway is doing great, too. We've pushed out over 425 fucking books in less than 24 hours! Way more than I anticipated. My book is #20 on the Amazon Free Horror charts. It's fun.

If that many people had downloaded it yesterday, when I was asking $2.99, I could have put new tires on the Kia this weekend.

Thanks again for your support.

Just giving this one more bump while there are a few hours remaining to claim a free copy of the quintessential summer zombie western. Thanks to everyone who downloaded a copy and extra thanks to those that shared my link. This community has always been great about supporting me in my goal of being a weirdo. I've received more clicks from here than from any of the Kindle sites where I've been promoting.

Anywho, the giveaway offer ends ends this evening, in just a few hours. I've had nearly 800 downloads now. We topped out at #12 on the Horror rankings and inside the Top 250 overall. Pretty great considering I didn't pay anyone and I rock a whopping 120 friends on Facebooks. I've slept barely. Thanks again, hope everyone who got a copy digs it -- and please let me know what you think.

Read a few pages so far, you've at least captured my interest to this point. I'm not much of a reader, but I may finish this one..... we'll see.

I think you're going to read the entire thing and love it, perhaps even kindling within you a newfound joy for books.

Seriously though, and this will sound like a real corny shill, but I wrote five versions of this book over the course of three years, and I was still having fun right up until I finished. I can read a passage, and despite being agonizingly familiar with every word and phrase -- I still laugh. There are a couple parts which move me toward tears. It's a pretty damn good book, imo. I mean, some people like the smell of their own farts, and I think everyone believes their kid is the best, but I don't think I'm biased.

Damn it, wish I clicked this yesterday. Not much of a zombie fan, but can't say no to a free book! Glad the promo went well for you BT! Hope that status at the top of the Amazon chart yields dividends ^^

Thanks!

Ended up giving away 814 copies. Huge success in my eyes. Today sales are starting off brisk at the regular $2.99 price tag and I dig that. I'll no doubt be doing another giveaway at some point, though I can't say when -- nor even if it will be for this same book.

And honestly, I'm not a huge zombie guy, either. I am, however, a big fan of the Old West. This novel began without the Undead in mind, with me wanting rather to write a western where the town becomes infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy, leading to dementia and cannibalism. As I got into it, though, it was just more fun to make the shamblers not merely ill, but downright Damned. Of course, I wrote it during the height of The Walking Dead mania, so my agent at the time was pretty encouraging when it came to embracing the zombie trope.

If I enjoy it will buy at 2.99, but if you waste my time I will spam 1 star reviews with sock puppets. Good luck

just bought ur book because i like the cover and overall presentation of your work on amazon. i will read it, eventually. but you should feel good about the way its presented.

once you get some reviews, spend 40-50 hrs solely marketing it. make a twitter, a facebook, all that shit. trust me, those hrs spent are worth 2 or 3x more than the writing process itself.

if you want a few tips on doing it effectively, go open a free trial at lynda.com and relax into some lectures on social media. its worth it. godspeed on the content creation.
