Love how you wrapped it up ... I was on the hook for a punch line, something like: And then a wizard appeared from nowhere, blew Hadden up with a single fiery conflagration, snapped his fishing rod in half, and then cursed as he kicked Hadden's empty corpse into the pond.

Always enjoyed the story of Kithicor, and this was a great supporting act.
Also creates a back story for a real NPC.
