Ok this is great. We were approved today for the ip exemption. I've never actually boxed before so I'm just trying to make sure I understand what we are not allowed to do.

I understand that you can't be one person using 2 characters at a time, like for example to transfer some items or to do a port. That makes sense. The only part that I'm not clear on, is the /follow command.

It's definitely boxing if someone has another character on /follow while they are killing mobs to get them experience. Sure.

Ok, but is it boxing if 2 people are playing together and one of them uses the /follow command for 5 minutes while the other gets a snack? You know, just to run to a spot where they plan on starting a group?

Just trying to make sure I understand this because we absolutely don't wanna break any rules.
That would be a problem if a GM identifies your behavior as suspicious and has you perform a 'boxing' test with the characters, which you will fail if you attempt on your own. If you try to explain that your partner went to get a snack and you are just towing their character to your camp spot, then you'll get sacked for boxing :/ (1 player controlling 2 characters). Sucks, but that is the way it works. Good luck! ^^
