Back when I played, I found the EC fatcats to be very helpful. I gladly spent an extra 5k on an item to save myself a few hours of waiting around in EC. I also gladly received 5k less on an item to save a few hours of waiting around in EC.

The fact that someone bought an item and then sold it at a profit does not mean they are evil or aren't helping things out. In the pre-bazaar world, untold time is wasted sitting around in EC when you can easily be making more money/items killing monsters and probably having a lot more fun to boot.

Praise to the EC fatcats, whose diligent work helps the market function and saves everyone untold hours.

Just coming back to the game, and I used to love the tunnel. Then the Bazaar came a long and I hated it. Now, I sorta wish we had that option, again. I want to be able to set up a seller and go to sleep. I'm probably alone here and it will probably never happen. My old eyes can't keep up with the auction channel these days.

Sorry for going off topic, but I'll kep an eye on this thread as to who to avoid.

We all must be aware of the most vicious swindler in all the EC tunnel...

I'm 100% with you. I despise EC and would be perfectly happy never going there again. I suffer through it because its necessary :/
