Ah, nah I don't care to do boxxing. Just that she wants to play anfor sometimes we might overlap our game playing times. Thanks everyone

Yeah... they seem to be taking a while on my petition for my wife and I to play together as well... multi-boxers really are annoying for multiple reasons. :/ Oh well, I guess we'll try and find something else to play together until it goes through... we WERE playing on Nostalrius and having a lot of fun until Blizzard decided they knew what their fans wanted.

How long ago did you submit your petition?

If they were done daily I bet that "temptation" would grip more players.

It's not like it's hard to add an ip to a ban list once anything has been proven. *shrug* Sure, it takes the 20 minutes or so of following someone as an invisible GM to determine whether they're boxxing, but it's certainly not THAT difficult or time-consuming.

I don't mind waiting, though... there are plenty of games to play in the meantime. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

That is wise and true. She's taking the time by looking over guides and farm spots, ect.

I had gotten mine quite quick; but that very well could have just been pure luck. I think I got it within about 5 days.

That being said, I don't even use it... applied for it a few years ago when I first found p99 so that my roommate at the time could get into EQ with me. Both of us fizzled out back then (had too much RL stuff going on, really..). Since then he's moved out and is now playing on his own IP.. and now im slowly trying to convince the Wife to play EQ with me... she lived with me back when I applied too; and I briefly mentioned the notion of her wanting to play as well in my application, but she never took to it. I played back in classic; EQ is new to her.. She cant see past the graphics. now with luclin models out of the picture, im hard pressed to get her to even try. 8/

I just rekindled my EQ flame recently; hoping that once she see my continued devotion that she'll make another attempt soon.... but unlikely... till then ill have to grind improving my Wife faction. Currently teetering around Dubious. I know she would love it once she leveled through the painful Teens; but that initial grind (especially with no gear) can be tough, and gloomy. I cant get her past that..

Swish is right tho, IMO. if it was done too quickly, there would probably be a lot of abuse; and I assume that would get hard to police. By being careful its probably easier to monitor the approvals; and then weed out the 'bad apples'.

and considering this server is Free; I appreciate the fact that this is policed at All; personally. Hell, id honestly pay a monthly sub for this server if it for whatever reason required one... and id pay two subs if I could ever actually convince the wife to try p99...

One Day..... one day...

If you already got the GF to love and accept EQ-p99 for what it is; you've got the hard part done already; IMO. itll be worth the wait. =)
