using a shield would just make you a less-effective knight, and your threat will drop off considerably

warriors are not exactly slouches when it comes to dps - make use of that

Duel Wield will skill up, even when wearing a shield, so you might consider using a shield for the first few levels after training duel wield until your skill reaches a decent amount, but largely speaking you don't want to use a shield on a warrior.

If you need to bash (heal interrupt) quickly swap a shield into secondary and out again.

Yeah, can't wait for that kick stun. Going to have a Willsapper on my warrior soon as possible, even pre 50 if need be so hes ready. I had a wavecrasher prior, on my ranger but dont really regret selling it. for the easy plat I got for it, The frostbringer/whip combo is plenty of aggro. And willsapper will be just fine I think. Can't wait to loot a decent warrior 2h from ntov, Or just settle for dain axe maybe even tormax who knows.
