Variance is the devil and should never be an option. Be more creative with a solution.

Being able to get a timer and show up on time to slay a mob is the most classic experience for a rare spawn camp.

Having 20+ spawn points along its pathing nodes and an FTE message would easily suffice as a change.

Otherwise you're going to relegate this quest to people willing to stare at a wall for 16 hours which is dumb. Any old random should be able to go out there with a ranger friend and do their best to find the mob when it spawns.

I agree - anything is better than current though and as bad as variance is, it seems to be the way they 'solve' things here even though randomization of the spawn points would be ideal in this situation. Im sure 100% of players would prefer that and agree its more classic, I just dont see it happening for whatever reason because that also would have solved the Kunark outdoor dragon problem years ago.

Gonna be quite a few months on the Chardok revamp.

But hopefully we get Luclin shortly after to negate the need for that quest $$$.

Drusella doesnt have a 5 day spawn time and those goblins will be poopsocked and air clicked

If anything, we need to add Scout Charisa-esque messages to the goblin turn in npcs where you turn notes into for the second ring in the quest

On Live servers right now, Kozzalym can spawn in multiple locations.

Almost every mob that roams around an entire zone has a spawn-box with any number of locations they can spawn.

That is classic.
