It can be a little annoying, but I just put sneak on my strafe keys same as I would for sense heading to level it up. It won't work much early on, and by the time it starts working a lot you'll have gotten very accustomed to the "double tap" when you strafe or turn to avoid staying in sneak mode. Of course take it back off your strafe keys once it's skilled up.

Also, I always bind FD to E and a /stand macro to R, and during the initial skilling up period I get used to just rolling my finger on ER and flopping all the time.

But are they? I know people have down-time to skill-up this way, but what about the starting monks that are staring at this thread as a means to finding a legitimate way to get better? I mean it's under the melee thread.. This write-up wasn't for you who want to train skills while tunnelquesting, but for every monk out there as well

What would be the macro setups if I wanted to just practice sneak and just practice feign death?

I've seen past threads where people posted about doing them in combat but I'm just looking for them to practice when I'm hanging out in the tunnel or not in combat.
Just for skill ups....

This question wasn't answered.

The only macros I use on my monk are for BW in combat, and for combat-flop to reduce agro (like you would fade on Rogue). The combat flop is just a simple /doability and /stand.

I'm happy to say that I maxed out sneak for my level by both practicing in the field while healing and also when I was buying/selling in the tunnel.

Lot of the skill points came from me just testing out the macro over and over.

I don't have feign death yet but I'm sure I can work something out that will work correctly.

Two options:
1) No macro. Remember to turn off autoattack before hitting FD.
2) Macro which first does /attack off. Then second line triggers your FD ability using /doability

Don't think pauses are necessary, I don't use them and never had issue that I've noticed.

And sometimes you don't want to sneak.

Yes, it is possible to have one keypress both do your kick and your epic. As far as I know, you can't do this with macros, but if you go into your client's options, you can customize which key presses trigger which actions. If you go to the section on hotkeys, you can put your kick as hotkey 2 and your epic as hotkey 9, for instance, and then bind both of those actions to the "2" key. Then, when you press 2, it'll kick and use the epic.

This is the same way that you would trigger it so that any time you press the left movement key, you would do a sense heading, forage, or /loc.

Edit: oops, didn't notice that Rokzor already replied.
