Haha the post isnt as serious as people think and I dont use luclin models. All in fun. My avatar is luclin because it looks realistic but I'd never play luclin when given a choice because it makes me run like I need to take a poop.

couple of my monk friends from classic feel this way too. to this day they won't play an iksar. I guess if you got saddled with a human monk because you were silly enough to start playing in 1999 instead of mid 2000 you might be holding a grudge.

Play what you enjoy. Min-maxing is important for some people (and yes it can make the game easier in some respects), but the most important thing are levels.

If you roll a toon you don't like, then your likelihood to hit level 60 significantly decreases.. and at level 60, your race/racial passives are much less important.

If you wanna be a big polar bear, play Barb Shaman. If you wanna have a glorious mullet, play Dark Elf.

tl;dr: Having a character you enjoy playing is infinitely more important than a racial passive on a character you don't play.
