A lot of people haven't ever hit 60. I hit 60 in 2000. I haven't hit 60 on project1999 yet.
Yes by percentage of hours played everyone is rich and has many 60s and raids under their belt. By actual human players though? percent wise? most people are casuals.
So, the chatter is all about how useless everything is and how everyone has all the pimp stuff, but there's tons of new players rediscovering the game every week.
Although yeah anyone who doesn't worship brell serilis? They might not care about cultural armor, but that was my point.
Then there's <Auld Lang Syne>. This is their ideal gear. Or me wanting to rediscover what it's like to be a newbie for an afternoon and considering a giant snake fang a massive upgrade :-p

A good point but cultural armor is still expensive - its almost easier to hit 60 than it is to go down to Fat Cat Mart and buy a full set of your race's cultural armor. I'd say dwarven armor is probably cheaper compared to some, the dark elf armor became a much rarer sight when the blue diamonds became required (and were expensive at the time).
Do these human players have access to plat they're not making casually?
