I thought this until I saw almost 300 carbs. Dude would have to be training for a marathon with that kind of carb intake to avoid fat storage. And let's be real here, there are no athletes of that caliber on these forums.

When talking about strictly weight loss, it is just calories in vs calories out. When talking about strength gain, yes you will need to hit your protein macros to increase your muscle mass.

Which is why I was originally commenting on what I thought the intended purpose of that diet that is listed might be - I still think it's a chubber trying to train for distance running...
