Any roamer on the bottom level is a PH for him, I think. Sometimes he spawns behind the locked door, but he aggroes through the door if you sit next to it while KoS, I think (or if you're low enough level).

Good posts in this thread. Fills my heart with joy to know there are so many defenders of Rivervale.

Spoiler: OP doesn't care about goblins or defending some drug den town, just wants the pixels.
Hey, maybe on Red that would fit, but the denizens of Blue are all about the defense of Rivervale and the slaughter of goblins! Stop projecting, mate.

Not all of us. If I could, I would lead a ravening army of methamphetamine-addicted goblins to lay waste to that pestiferous den of furry footed vest wearing overweight and undertall freaks. Anything, anything to STOP THAT MUSIC.

THIS is the reason Filbus is adventuring again. To protect the Vale from such lunatics as this.

This is a slightly updated version of Utenan's map. I removed one spawn point and added two. To the best of my knowledge this represents all his possible spawn points.

Lord Pickclaw definitely does NOT have a placeholder. His spawn point is totally independent of the other goblins on the 4th floor. You best bet to spawn him is to start killing every goblin you can on the 4th floor. Over the course of 8 months off and on, I have killed him 55 times, and after parsing my logs, the shortest time between kills was 12 minutes, although the typical time between kills was about 25-30 minutes. Granted this was just encountering him as I made my rounds on the 4th floor in one of his 6 random spawn points (as opposed to camping one specific spawn) so in nearly every case he had already spawned and had been sitting there for a short amount of time before I found him. Typically it would take me about 25 minutes to complete a floor clear cycle.

The good news is that the Blackened Alloy armor can drop off of any goblin on the 4th floor, so you don't necessarily need to kill Lord Pickclaw to get a set. I don't recall seeing the Grotesque Alloy Mask drop off anything other than Lord Pickclaw, but that isn't a visible piece so I think it is possible to get a full visible set without ever seeing Lord Pickclaw.

If you'd like help just send me a PM. I've slaughtered so many of those damn goblins trying to get a full set of the Dark Muslin armor (which drops from the caster goblins) that Mayor Gubbin ought to present me with a key to Rivervale.

I'll be happy to give you the Rivervale JumJum badge, in honor of your service.

Fun fact, on EQ2 if you find a repaired piano in someone's house and have it play a tune, it plays the Rivervale theme...

Also the frog you can put in your house in EQ1 on live will occasionally come to life, track you down in the house, and play the theme as it dances in front of you. You can't get away from it.

this is a stupid post.

of course the people who like to pvp for fun are less roleplay than the sicko's that stand waiting on skype watching empty rooms for a spawn.
