Why would you doubt it's going to happen? I don't see why Rogean wouldn't want to run a truly classic server on a truly classic timeline - sans the bugs and exploits that made this servers economy kind of a joke. That's what this whole thing is about, right? Recreating the classic experience?

People doubt everything here. But yes, if the people in charge of P99 can deliver on their plans, as they've generally done before (and have always done with the main server) Green will happen. It is the point of the entire project.

But with that being said, P99 also has a history of taking forever as long as is necessary to get the job done right with their very limited all-volunteer staff. Velious took 7 years, and Green still needs Chardok 2.0, everything the devs still have on their list to fix (ie. anything they've kicked down the road), plus a whole lot of logistical work. Green will come, but if you're smart you won't expect it to come anytime soon.

Green server is the end goal for Project1999. The current blue server is a 'work in progress' namely that the timeline and bug fixes do not mirror the Classic releases.

The Green server however will be the Classic Everquest utopia where everything from the start will be perfectly implemented in terms of the Classic progression timeline.
