I came from a bluebie server. I only found VZ/TZ because a friend of mine found this project in the works 3 years ago. I had no choice but to start playing the pvp server. Since 99 wasn't going to be operational for another year or so.

PVP is super frustrating at times, and yes cheaters do basketball. but the reward for anything in game is always more rewarding. Greater the Risk, Greater the Reward. All you bluebies...give the pvp server a chance. I was there with you... I wouldn't trade all the ass beating's I took in the last 3 years for any bluebie server.

There is nothing any game out there that will give you the rush greater than guild VS guild over a raid mob that spawns once a week.

I promise you will get owned. You will get trolled. But if you give it a chance you will be rewarded with an overall better EQ experience.

I think Heresy won beating Fishbait, Tides of wraith and a few Holocaust. Here is the follow up vid when Heresy was on Naggy a handful of fishbait and holocaust were able to attack heresy while on naggy but it was not enough

There are 2 glaring facts.

1. PvP is the only solution for raid mobs camped by multiple guilds
2. Dappx wearing only a shield, breastplate and club* made it through both fights.

There is absolutely no offending posts in this thread.

R&F is the pvp sub-forum? I think many see "server chat" as "general" which is why you get posts in that area.

oh, and that nagafen video that a GM made had 300 people from FoH forums join the server just because of it.

So don't discount true discussion because you are frustrated there is no pvp section and that "server chat" makes people think it's ok to talk about pvp there since Rogean announced it.
