I changed the ram and a couple parts up. I added my current monitors and headset as well. Hoping this lasts me 5 solid years at high FPS.

Why would you sink that much money into PC but be on a five year refresh cycle?

N-word rich are ya?

Southern California has a high cost of living, but also higher wages. My old CPU was released in January 2011. My current computer was built around then and overtime I upgraded my ram and GPU, but was limited by my CPU socket.

I will probably do the same with this build. I see myself getting a SLI bridge down the road and probably upgrading my ram in 3-4 years.

20 year old me used to dream of working on a list like that, piece by piece each paycheck. 34 year old me decided video games are boring and a smart phone is just as good. Looks like a nice system though! Hope you like it.

Have you considered any M.2 SSD instead of SATA?

Something like: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...9SIA12K7968212

Nope. I have been asking build a pc reddit for advice on my build and this is the first that I have heard of a PCI Express SSD. It looks alot more convenient than having to bracket and mount a sata SSD or 3.5 hard drive.

I will definitely look into this when I need additional SSD space.

It was at this point I decided to no longer be kind to the casuals as they have extreme short term memory. They did this to themselves, unfortunately.
