It's origin here is from the red server. Often used after one player kills another and the death is announced in global text to everyone.

I'm forgetting some details but I was told "pras" was used by someone on red who was miss spelling praise in global a lot. Everyone thought it was funny so they started saying pras either to rag on that person or because it was amusing.
